20 years experience providing health care.
From her practice in the community setting
to her medical care of the employees of a
major corporation in the Boston area for 15
years, she is now working with patients in
the chronic care setting of nursing homes
and acute rehabilitative care.

Ms. Gallagher trained
at the University of Mass., Lowell, as a family
nurse practitioner before joining the Family
Health Center. She worked for many years as
a registered nurse before becoming a nurse
practitioner.
Ms. Gallagher deals extensively with the specific
health care issues facing the elderly in the
chronic care setting of acute rehabilitative
care, subacute care and within a nursing home
setting.

Shenkin, LPN

Ms. Shenkin assists the center's physicians by preparing
patients for the exam room. She takes vital signs
and also assists doctors during an exam. Ms. Shenkin
screens lab work and x-rays and tests for items
that require immediate attention. She also helps
center patients with medical issues and prescription
refills over the phone.
